Venue & Location

The Ibacus Harp Courses are held in a timber-framed Tudor farmhouse in Suffolk, dating from 1522, and surrounded by glorious countryside.

Beautifully restored and modernised, this eco-friendly venue boasts geo-thermal heating and wind-generated electricity. Students are housed in light and airy bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms.

The concert hall is in an atmospheric galleried barn, with grand pianos and state-of-the-art recording facilities. In the grounds there are three natural ponds, and horses graze nearby.

  • Each student is provided with a room for private practice.

  • Delicious home-cooked meals are eaten in a spacious farmhouse kitchen.

  • Access is easy by road, rail (London Liverpool Street to Wickham Market), and air (Stansted Airport).

  • Off-road parking is available for the Adult Spring Course.

“A fabulous week ... thanks a lot for the whole warm and friendly atmosphere”
